Bevin Louden scored 19 points and Beckett Sullivan added 17 as the West Liberty-Salem Tigers pounded the Rams of Greeneview 77-49 in the District Semi-finals at Bethel High School on Tuesday night
The Tigers jumped out to a 9-2 lead early in the first quarter and would lead by as much as 10. Louden had 5 of his 19 in the firs quarter.
The Rams would make a game of it in the second quarter.
With the Tigers up 32-21 with 4:16 left in the half, the Rams would bounce back and in the final 4:16 would out score the Tigers 11-4 to close within 4 at 36-32 at the half.
But that was the closest the Rams would come on this night.
The Tigers would pull away outscoring the Rams 16-5 in the third quarter and 25-12 in the fourth to put it awa for the Tigers.
The Rams were led by Will Clime with 18, all in the first half and also by Lucas Reynolds with 18.
The Rams will fall to 10-13 on the year while West Liberty-Salem improves to 21-3.
West Liberty-Salem will advance to the District Final on Saturday morning at Middletown High School at 10 am and will face the Silver Knights of Summit Country Day a 60-48 winner over Mariemont
