Fairborn, Ohio – The Wright State men’s soccer team received votes in the College Soccer News Top 30 poll for the week ending August 30.

Also receiving votes in the poll was Kentucky, a team the Raiders face in Lexington on Friday afternoon at 5:00 pm. Also receiving votes was Oakland who the Raiders will host to close out the regular season on November 6.

Wright State (2-0) won it’s first tournament title since 2010 last weekend at the Bert and Iris Wolstein Classic as the raiders defeated Binghamton 2-0 and Cal State Fullerton 2-1. Four Raiders were named to the All-Tournament Team in junior forward Peguy Ngatcha, junior forward Eric Lynch, junior goalkeeper Tyler Blackmer and freshman midfielder Jackson Dietrich

Delaware, Ohio –  Two goals in quick succession midway through the first half propelled Ohio Wesleyan to a 7-0 victory over Earlham in the season opener for both team on Tuesday

Ohio Wesleyan’ Brian Schaffer scored the games first two goals and the Battling Bishops lead 2-0 going to the locker room at the half.

Earlham (0-1) returns home for it’s next two contests. The Quakers will look for their first victory of the season when they host DePauw at Matlack Field on Friday September 4th at 5 pm

The Bengals today made the following roster moves, reaching the NFL’s September 1st limit of 75 players on the active list.

They placed Cedric Ogbuehi on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list. Ogbuehi will remain with the team for rehab and meetings, but may not practice  for the first 6 weeks of the regular season. Beginning the week following Week 6, he will begin a window of eligibility to return to practice under a roster exemption, if medically cleared.

They placed third-year LB Sean Porter on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list.

They also released first-year WR Onterio McCalebb under the Waived/Injured category. If McCalebb clears waivers tomorrow, he’ll revert to the Bengals’ Reserve/Injured list of 2015
